I'm shocked that so many people give Tony Paige praise. He is definitely the least knowledgeable host on the fan, as well as the most boring. He is basically unlistenable. He seems like a great guy, and I'm sure he is, but he needs to be replaced on the overnights by someone, preferably Adam the Bull.

I'd like to see a link to a place where Tony paige is receiving "so much praise". I don't really think he has.

Yea there's not a huge swelling of support for Tony Paige on wfan that I am aware of, and Adam the bull once again should be on the station on a regular basis

Can't wait to hear Tony's boxing show from Vegas tomorrow night. If only it were 15-20 years ago and boxing was relevant.

He's in Vegas to cover the fight and do his show there. I don't think he can do the play by play. Not that I or anybody else will be listening anyway.

I like tony, his style fits the over night crowds passion and temperament. During the overnight where there is far less anger, and much more reflection of the latest sports stories. Yes, he won't fit in with the super passionate sports fan crowd, because his style does not match their die-hard passion, but overall he lets them have their say, but unlike Francesa who will let you get your main point out before letting the audience know what his "CORRECT" take on things is, Tony will tend to see everything from both sides.

I agree with fandroid, Tony would have been the perfect host when boxing was in it's heyday.

Tony let's the fans have their say because he usually doesn't have his own opinion on a topic, or he's not informed enough to have an opinion on the topic. The guy is not entertaining or knowledgeable enough to have a full time gig on the station in my opinion.

The fight is tomorrow, but unfortunately Tony's show from Vegas is tonight. Here's hoping for an 18 inning Mets-Dodgers game tonight.

I turned it on ladt night thinking Sussman would be on but Paige still was. I didnt listen because I couldnt care less about boxing. It would be nice is the overnight guy on Wfan was a big MMA guy. Nobody on the station even watches it as far as I know, except Evan maybe
