Wow! I am batting 1.000

Maybe, the Yankees should start dialing my number, so I can clue them in on what's wrong with Phil Hughes...MORONS

April 6th - I said there is something seriously wrong with Phil Hughes He needs and MRI and is one step away from a DL stint http://66wfan.net/showthread.php?1352-Phil-Huges-headed-for-the-DL

April 8th After a horrendous outing in Boston, the Yankees just kept reporting it's just a simple case of dead arm.

April 8th I wrote that Phil Hughes needs an MRI and since they have an off day after their game with Baltimore on the 16th he should be placed on the 15 day DL http://66wfan.net/showthread.php?1352-Phil-Huges-headed-for-the-DL

April 9th The Yankees said they are not even thinking of placing Phil Hughes on the DL because all he has is a dead arm.

April 16th 2:58AM I wrote Phil Hughes has Micro Tears I already had him pegged for the DL because I know what he has and there is no way you can fix it without a DL stint

April 16th AROUND 5PM Yankees announce Phil Hughes is going on the 15 day disabled list after a bad bullpen session

April 26th I wrote an article on why isn't the sports reporters doing their jop? since I have been 1 step ahead of the Yankees on the Phil Hughes story? http://66wfan.net/showthread.php?1389-Where-were-the-Great-NY-sports-reporters-on-Phil-Hughes

April 28th Yankees announce that Phil Hughes will be sent to a specialist because he may have Thoracic outlet syndrome?

April 28th I wrote an article telling the Yankees there is NO WAY Phil Hughes has TOS and I list my reasons why, and also continue to ask why reporters are not asking the tough questions? http://66wfan.net/showthread.php?1397-How-can-Phil-Hughes-have-Thoracic-outlet-syndrome

May 2nd The Yankees announce Phil Hughes checked out and he does not have TOS and they are friggin clueless

May 3rd Hopefully they call me at 516-581-2711 so I can clue them in...It will be the first thing they did right since Spring, when I first noticed that Hughes was injured

You keep saying that you are right, but you still don't know what's wrong with Hughes. On that day you might be proven right, but that day has not come yet

05-03-2011, 14:09
Well I have been right all along, and yes I still maybe wrong, but so far every step of the way i was correct. I was right that there was something wrong, That he needed to be placed on the DL, That there was something more wrong than just the Dead arm, and I was right that this was not TOS

How many other people were right? Actually I have more of a problem with reporters not doing their job. I still haven't heard any reporters asking any of the questions I have been asking.

The only thing you have been right about is the DL prediction. There is no way you can say you are right about it being more then this or that, because that hasn't been proven yet.

Okay so if you are right, then what is wrong with Phil??? What could be the issue he is having and where do we go from here??

I think he's sticking with the Micro Tear prediction, which is unfounded at this time

Micro-tears. They do not show up on MRI's. If you do use contrast then they have a better shot of showing up. But if you have gotten this far into an exam and not found anything then this would most likely be the cause.

The reason I said Micro-Tears on April 16th was the lack of pain, and the lack of velocity. Where I was convinced it was micro\tears was the fact that Hughes did not gain any velocity.

His fastball speeds
Game 1 86-88
Game 2 88-90 This is a good sign for dead arm his next game should be 90-91
Game 3 91 first inning by the 3rd inning he was down to 86

To me that mean he tore the micro tear again after the first inning so he was back to square 1

He needs rest, and to rebuild his arm strength, similar to what you would do at the start of spring training. There is no long term harm to his arm, he just needs to rebuild it up. I saw another few weeks then at least 2 weeks in the minors then he can come back...So probably all totaled 6 weeks
