After being locked up for 20 months for illegally carrying and firing a gun at a Manhattan nightclub, former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress walked out of prison a free man this morning.
"I just want to thank God for bringing me through one of the most trying times in my life," Burress said as he walked out of prison. "It's a beautiful day, it's a beautiful day to get to be reunited with my family and go home for some quality time with them."

I haven't heard much in the last 2 days but before that it was rumored that Plax might be going to the Eagles. Any Giant fans want him back? His conditioning might be an issue and just because Michael Vick came back to be a great player doesn't mean Plaxico will be. He could be a fit for the Jets.. he would be less of a cap hit with all his questions.

The most important thing is that he could be a great value. if he is the old Plax then whoever gets him will be well off, I wouldnt be upset of the Jets picked him up
