The Rangers have agreed with 25 year old Brandon Dubinsky on a 4 year $16.8 million deal. He and the Rangers avoided arbitration by signing the deal, which has an annual cap hit of $4.2 million. The breakdown of the contract is as follows: 2011-12, $3.75 million; 2012-13, $3.75 million; 2013-14, $4.65 million; 2014-15, $4.65 million. Dubinsky lead the Rangers last season with the 24 goals and 30 assists. Dubi commented saying "I wanted to be in New York, itís the place I live, itís the place I love and I want to be here forever. At the end of the day, I think itís a homerun for me. I hope the team feels the same way" The only remaining of the Rangers 5 RFA's this year is Ryan Callahan, whose arbitration hearing is scheduled for next Thursday.
