This is fairly straight forward but I want everybody to see how these tags are used. First off is the link feature. This is the little globe with a chain link on it. click it and the link box will open. Paste the link in the box

http://www.facebook.com/pages/66Wfannet/130743056961750

When you paste the URL and hit enter, you will see what is shown above, but the second half of it will be highlighted for you to start typing a name for your link. Don't just have your link display like this

http://www.facebook.com/pages/66Wfannet/130743056961750 because that looks like crap. Type in a name for your link as shown here
66WFan.Net on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/66Wfannet/130743056961750) so that it displays like this: 66WFan.Net on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/66Wfannet/130743056961750)

Quotes

next to the video icon you will find the quote icon. Click on it, and the quote tags will appear wherever your cursor is at.

At this point you should put your cursor between the tags and separate them

so you can place text between them

Like this and you do not need to worry about accidentally pasting your text in the middle of the tag
[QUOTE][Like this/QUOTE]

Or, you can past the text you want quoted, then highlight it and click the quote icon, and the tag will automatically wrap around the text.

If you are writing articles on this site you will want to use these features on a regular basis. Anytime to have a source you need to provide the link and name it appropriately, and put any content you copy from that site on to this site and show it as a quote. A picture helps a lot on the facebook page because it displays in the link and encourages people to click and read.

One final thing I want to mention, is that we need to have only one thread discussing each topic. I think there were 5 topics on Jeremy Lin in the Baskeball Forum. They all had 1 or 0 replies to them. It would have made much more sense for all the Lin talk to go into the first Lin thread that was opened. Replies are more important than New threads. Conversation is what we are looking for.
