- SmackDown opens with Teddy Long and Randy Orton in Teddy's office. Long is concerned about Randy Orton’s condition and pulls him from the Elimination Chamber match on Sunday.

- Big Show and The Great Khali defeat Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes. After the match, Show hits Khali with the WMD.

- Mark Henry is backstage and tells Teddy to put him in the Elimination Chamber match. Big Show came in and demanded a match against Daniel Bryan for later in the night. Henry interrupts and Big Show hits him with a WMD and then trashes Long's Office. Long then went to security and told them to escort Big Show out of the arena.

- Hunico defeated Ted DiBiase via roll-up with the help of Camacho.

- WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo defeat The Usos via Back-Stabber in a very good match. Why don't they feature the Tag Team Division more often?

- Daniel Bryan comes out and cuts a promo about his actions on RAW. Bryan says he will win at Elimination Chamber. He wants Lilian Garcia to announce him the winner by forfeit for his match later that night against Orton. Teddy Long comes out and tells Bryan he will face Sheamus at that moment. Preview for Wrestlemania?

- Daniel Bryan beat Sheamus by DQ. Bryan spit in Sheamus’ face which caused him to push the referee. Bryan escapes with another victory.

- Jinder Mahal won a quick match over Ezekiel Jackson.

- Tamina and Alicia Fox beat Natalya and Beth Phoenix. The referee gets distracted by Natalya’s farting. What a storyline...

- Santino Marella won a battle royal to replace Randy Orton in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber on Sunday. The match came down to David Otunga, Ezekiel Jackson, Drew McIntyre and Santino. Santino eliminated all of the remaining superstars to get the victory and the spot in the match at Elimination Chamber. The crowd went crazy when Santino won. A sign of things to come?

I watched a little of this last night and 2 things stand out - Daniel Bryan is about the worst choice for champion. He's nothing special physically and his personality is on par with your average wrestler. 2nd thing - Ezekial Jackson is a monster and if he can wrestler at all he should be a major heal in the future

I agree with you on Bryan on his appearance, however I think his personality is perfect for a heel. He gives off the impression that he is better than everyone because he is a vegan and the crowd eats it up every night. Also, if you look at the roster, WWE is getting away from the muscular guys that made the sport popular in the 80s. One reason being is that the muscular guys were not the best wrestlers and guys like Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Dolph Ziggler are outstanding wrestlers. I think the other reason is that they have had multiple wrestlers pass away after using steroids and other PEDs, so they are trying to shy away from that.

They tried to make Jackson a force as a heel and it did not go over well with the crowd. The he got hurt. Maybe if they give him another shot it will turn out better, but there are already enough heels (bad guys) in the company. They need to try and get some faces (good guys) for the crowd to like.
