WWE Championship
Elimination Chamber Match

The Miz vs. R-Truth vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. CM Punk

Order of Entry

CM Punk
Kofi Kingston
Dolph Ziggler
The Miz
Chris Jericho

Order of Elimination

R-Truth - via Macho Man Elbow Drop by CM Punk.
Dolph Ziggler - via Codebreaker by Chris Jericho.
Kofi Kingston - via Walls of Jericho by Chris Jericho.
Chris Jericho - via Referee Stoppage. Knocked out by CM Punk kick to the head.
The Miz - vis GTS by CM Punk

Overall a very good Elimination Chamber match. Solid showing by everyone, except R-Truth. CM Punk came off very well. Starting the match and ending up as the winner. Jericho was never officially eliminated, so he will have a gripe on Raw. Should set up Jericho v Punk at WM 28. (***˝)

Divas Championship

Beth Phoenix vs. Tamina Snuka

Beth pins Tamina via Glam Slam.

WINNER AND STILL WWE Diva’s Champion: Beth Phoenix

It was your basic Divas match. Made Beth look even better for when she goes into her match against at Wrestlemania, which will probably be against Karma. (*˝)

Out comes John Laurinaitis and David Otunga and talks about how the Board of Directors wants him to stay around. Laurinaitis says Teddy Long should be subjected to the same scrutiny he was. Out comes a returning Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio insults Teddy Long, then said he plays favorites and holds grudges. He said Long is corrupt and we don’t need people like that in this business. He turns to Laurinaitis and says he has a good idea, that he should be the permanent GM for both Raw and Smackdown. Mark Henry comes out and does the same thing.

Then we get the return of Captain Charisma! Christian makes his return to a huge reaction. He said if it weren’t for Long he’d be competing for the title tonight. He follows in the complaint department and said Long created an unsafe working environment, and that’s why he’s asking the board to make Laurinaitis the GM of Smackdown.

Laurinaitis thanks everyone and asks Otunga to take a picture of everyone who came out to support the movement. Everyone gets together and Christian gives a cheesy thumbs up. Otunga makes sure to get himself into the picture as well.

World Heavyweight Championship
 Elimination Chamber Match

Santino Marella vs. The Great Khali vs. Big Show vs. Wade Barrett vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan

Order of Entry

Wade Barrett
Big Show
Cody Rhodes
The Great Khali
Daniel Bryan

Order of Elimination

The Great Khali - via spear by Big Show
The Big Show - via an array of moves, but the final one was an Elbow drop by Barrett and Rhodes got the pin
Cody Rhodes - via roll-up by Santino
Wade Barrett - via Flying Headbutt by Bryan and Santino got the pin
Santino - via Labell Lock

WINNER AND STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Daniel Bryan

After the match, Bryan celebrates with his title in the ring. Sheamus’ music hits, and he makes his way out to the ring. Bryan attempts to attack Sheamus, but Sheamus stops him, and grabs him by the throat. Sheamus shoulders Bryan, and drops him with an Air Raid Crash. It looks like he will be challenging Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania.

A fantastic match. Santino was very over with the crowd and almost pulled it out. This could be a turning point for Santino. I am not saying that he is a World Title contender, but he could take the IC Title off of Cody in the coming weeks. Otherwise, everyone else had a very strong showing except for Khali, but no one cares how he comes off. (****)

U.S. Championship

Jack Swagger vs. Justin Gabriel

In a match made by Teddy Long just 5 minutes prior, Jack Swagger retains his title via Ankle lock.

WINNER AND STILL US Champion: Jack Swagger

It was a nice breather for everyone before the Main Event. Swagger needed this victory to make him look like a champion. He got it, maybe it is time for a big push for Swagger. (**)

Ambulance Match

Kane vs. John Cena

John Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment off the top of the Ambulance. He then picked up Kane and threw him into the Ambulance for the victory

Winner: John Cena

The match itself was okay. It played out perfectly to make Cena look good going into Wrestlemania. Not sure what Kane is going to do now, but a feud with Ryder looks like it is on the horizon. (**˝)

Overall, it was a solid PPV. Every match did its job in making sure the Winner looked very good. No title changed hands and it set up Wrestlemania 28 very well.
