Andy Pettitte will make a rehab start for the Trenton Thunder on Wednesday. His pitch count will be restricted to 75-80 pitches. If his rehab stays on track, he could be up to pitch for the Yankees as early as May 11th. Until then, we'll just have to live with Garcia every 5 days.

Nova needs to get ahold of himself!

It certainly didn't help that Nova was getting squeezed by HP Umpire Joe West. Looking at several strike zone charts, it seems Verlander got a lot more strike calls that would be outside to right-handed batters. But, he also threw a lot more pitches in that area. So one could argue that Verlander adjusted to the ump's strike zone better than Nova did. Also, Justin Verlander is going to get calls that other pitchers don't.
