View Full Version : Knicks want #6 seed?, Must win next 2.

If the New York Knicks want to avoid a first round playoff matchup against the Chicago Bulls or the Miami Heat they need to win their next two games. Also the Orlando Magic also have to lose their next 2 games against the Bobcats and Grizzles. The Knicks next two games are against the Clippers and the Bobcats. Tonight the Knicks and Magic are both in action. Knicks take on the Clippers at MSG at 8 tonight, and the Magic take on the Bobcats. Were all diehard Bobcat fans tonight, but we will need a little bit of luck for the Bobcats to win. They have lost 21 straight. From the last game is seems that Melo and Amare can blend well together but Tyson Chandler didnt play against the Bucks. Amare played center not foward. It will be interesting to see if Amare, Melo and Tyson can blend together when they are all on the court.
The Bulls have locked up the #1 seed in the East, and the Knicks can still slip back to the 8 seed. For that to happen the Knicks will have to drop thier final 2 and the Sixers will have to win out. In my opinion if the Knicks want to get out of the first round in the NBA playoffs their best matchup would be against the Bulls. A not 100% Derrick Rose could cause problems for the Bulls, and the Knicks have played the Bulls well all year (including Melo's game winning shot ). It will be interesting to see how it all pans out in the final days of the season. Let's go Knicks!
