This was the game the Jets needed, a pick me up winand a absolute confidence booster against a young and weak Colts team at Metlife yesterday. With this win the Jets improved to (3-3) and snapped a two game losing streak. In this game the Jets regained their team identity of being a ground and pound team and Shonn Greene was at the center of it. Greene ran for a career-high 161 yards and three TDs and played his best career game as a Jet. The so called QB "controversy" on hold. Mark Sanchez played a clean and efficient game yesterday. He went (11-18) 82 yards, 2TD. And 0 interceptions, 0 Turnovers. This was the first time the Jets didn't turn the ball over in 17 games. Both of his two TD's throws were great throws fitting them in tight windows in the endzone to Stephen Hill and Jason Hill both for 5-yard TD passes. Yesterday the Jets had a plan for Tim Tebow he only did play 6 snaps on offensive but had a key play on another fake punt. He took a direct snap and threw a little jump pass to LB Nick Bellore to later set up another Jets Touchdown. The call at the time was perfect and Tebow executed the play perfectly. Credit to Special Teams guru Mike Westoff as well. The Ground And Pound was back as well. The Jets rushed for a season-high 252 yards with an under-matched Colts front seven. But Don't throw a parade, though the Colts' run defense is one of the worst in the leauge. They have allowed 5.1 yards per carry.Colts rookie QB Andrew Luck didn't quite have the game he wanted to have, Luck going (22-for-44, 280 yards, two interceptions) had a terrible game. Mainly because the Jets pass rush was a thorn in the rookies side yesterday had 4 sacks and Muhammad Wilkerson and rookie Quintin Coples were at the top of their game yesterday. CB Antonio Cromartie (three penalties) did a nice job on Wayne, intercepting one pass and holding him to three catches for 32 yards. Luck couldn't get the ball to his go to reciever and the Jets secondary was solid all game. Coming up next for the Jets, they are hitting the road for the first time in three weeks against the (3-3) New England Patriots. The Jets have dropped three of the past four in the series.
