I guess they are going to play the ...#2, Derek...Jeta.....#2 for the rest of the year, is that right? It's a shame but at that age you just hope he's in a better place. Thanks to Bob for over 50 years of service

He is surely a great loss. Who could replace such a smooth, distinctive baritone and precise, consistent elocution?

I truly missed a voice that honored the opponent as well as the Yankees. So many opponents wished they could have their names announced by this fine gentleman. He made a player's name sound like nobility.
