View Full Version : Cutler a Wimp???
I didn't realize people were saying this about him. I watched the game, and figured that he was hurt pretty bad. Bad enough to not come back in. What else do you expect of him?
The thing is, I think people see him sitting there not being treated and not trying to get back in the game. That must mean he is not hurt bad if he is not in the back with doctors. So the idea that he wasnt hurt that bad comes out from some people. I can't imagine why he would pick that game of all of them to fake an injury or to proetend is was worse then it was. I think torn MCL is what the test showed, which is clearly a serious thing.
Yeah, I don't think there was any pretending going on there. He really did look hurt. I totally understand what they were saying in the clip posted above about the appearance he gave though. Poor guy, he was in a very rough situation, and it's gonna be hard for him to live this one down.
Interesting. Just came across another article dealing with this: http://www2.tbo.com/content/2011/jan/24/250400/cutlers-passion-questionable-not-his-toughness/#poll_1353
The Moose is making a good point right now on FAN, Cutler looked disinterested in the 2nd half. He looked like he didnt care. You have to become a cheerleader if you get hurt in a game. Maybe he was coaching the backups, but it looked like he couldnt care less about what was going on
I agree completely. He seemed to just want to be done. Way to support the team!
Bears are standing behind Cutler. Nice to see.
Let me injure your MCL and see you play lol.
Lol, I'd just want it to be done too so I could be treated. Injuring your MCL has got to hurt pretty badly. Though I can see people's point that he was acting uninterested but we all have our off days, and he's never acted this way before, has he?
And the saga continues! http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81e1483a/article/report-cutler-took-painkiller-shot-at-halftime-of-nfc-title-game?module=HP_headlines2col
