Phil Jackson begins...

Knicks team president Phil Jackson has announced that head coach Mike Woodson and all coaching staff have been fired. Woodson went 54-28 and won the division title in 2012-2013. However, the 2013-2014 season was a fail, the Knicks had high expectations this year and went 37-45. They missed the playoffs and looked frustrated the entire season. This year was a disaster and it was no surprise that Woodson and his staff was let go of. Phil Jackson will choose his own guy.

“I have a tremendous amount of respect for Mike Woodson and his entire staff”

-Phil Jackson

The Knicks future is bright...
Phil Jackson is in NY for the next 5 years and he will turn this team around. He has an NBA-record 11 championships as a coach and knows how to win. Jackson can bring in free agents and put a solid roster together. Knick fans should not be worried, Jackson will do the right thing and he is a very smart NBA guy.

Rumors are that Steve Kerr will be the next Knicks head coach. Kerr has played 15 seasons in the NBA under Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich. He has won 5 NBA championships.
